Job Details:

The Eastport-South Manor Central School District is committed to empowering students through rigorous instruction and innovative programs in a community-anchored learning environment. We are looking for an enthusiastic Probationary K-6 Spanish Teacher who values teamwork, continuous learning, and building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.  This position is for a K-2 or 3-6 building.

 

Additional Responsibilities / Qualifications Include:

  • Expertise in developing and delivering engaging Spanish language lessons that align with NYS World Languages Standards 

  • Ability to use a variety of instructional techniques to meet the diverse learning needs of students, including differentiated instruction and technology integration

  • Incorporate cultural components into lessons to enhance students’ understanding of Spanish-speaking cultures

  • Collaborate with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects and events 

  • Expertise in creating a positive learning environment

  • Communicates effectively with all members of the school community

 

Anticipated Start Date: August 31, 2026

Must have appropriate NYS Certification & FLES Extension
