Job Description:
Requirements: We are currently looking for a dynamic Special Education 7-12 certified teacher, with a content area certification in Social Studies.
The successful candidate must possess effective collaboration skills, a strong work ethic, as well as the ability to motivate students and to instill a love for learning. The chosen candidate must have the following skills:
Expertise in developing lessons to meet NYS Standards
Knowledge of web-based tools to support the classroom
The ability to differentiate instruction for all types of learners
Interactive lessons using a myriad of software
Versed in depth of knowledge questioning
Communicates effectively with all members of the school community
Valid NYSED Certification in Social Studies 7-12 Required
Compensation: As per the teachers’ contract.
